FAQs
FAQs
Q – Do you make naked or buttercream cakes?
I do, but only during the cooler seasons. I will not do them from May – September.
Q – can I have different flavours in each tier?
Absolutely. With so many flavours to chose from, how could you not!
Q – do you deliver cakes?
Yes. I deliver all wedding cakes. For celebration cakes, should you require delivery, you must state this at the time of booking. There will be a fee for this.
Q – how much notice do you need for a cake?
For celebration cakes I recommend at least 2 months notice however, if I have availability I will always try and get you booked in. Wedding season can book up 12 months in advance.
Q – When should I book?
Once you have set your date, then is the time to contact me to ensure that I am also available.
You are more than welcome to meet me face to face, or we can liaise via Zoom. If you are happy for us to work together, a non-refundable booking fee will be taken. I will then arrange for a contract to be sent to you detailing the order and payments. I will contact you a couple of months before your event to confirm flavours and that the design/timings have not changed. For weddings and large celebration cakes, the final payment is due 6 weeks before the event date.
Q – Where should I store my cake?
Your cake should be kept in the box and stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and any heat source. Do not store your cake in the fridge, the cold will cause the fondant icing to sweat, it will cause condensation which can ruin the colour, pipe work, edible lace and any sugar decorations. Storing your cake in the fridge will also dry out the cake. Do not leave overnight in the car as temperatures are too unpredictable.
Q – how long will my cake last
Once collected/delivered your cake should be consumed within 4 days.
I am fully registered and insured with a 5 star hygiene rating

Can’t decide on what flavour to go for?
I offer a beautiful box packed full of random scrumptious cake samples. My cake flavours have taken many years to perfect, this selection is based on my most popular flavours.
These are £30 collected and £40 posted.
Once your cake is confirmed, the flavours are fully customisable, if you would prefer the strawberry crush with white chocolate filling, or the Oreo to be a white sponge for example, or you like a stronger/more subtle salted caramel flavour, please do let me know and I will be happy to accommodate.
Having each tier as a separate flavour, is highly recommended.
I do NOT cater for those with allergies. I am happy to provide “Free From” cakes if it is for a lifestyle choice, but not for health reasons
